Covid Guidelines

To allow us to restart competitive football AFC Walcountians and the Walcountians Sports Club have completed a full Covid-19 Risk Assessment in line with FA and Government guidance. This will mean a number of changes to match days, but all of these have been implemented to reduce the risk and keep everyone safe. To help everyone stay safe before, during and after games we ask Managers, Players, Parents and Spectators to follow some simple guidelines:

  • If you or any one you live with has have a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss of smell or taste, please don’t come to the ground and you should follow government guidance on isolating for 14 days
  • Managers will be asked to keep a record of all players, volunteers or spectators attending training or games and this information will be held for 21 days in line with the Government Recreational Team Sport Framework to support NHS Track & Trace
  • Can all visitors to Walcountians Sports Club please check in with the NHS Track & Trace App
  • Changing rooms will not be in use during this time, but toilet facilities will be available at the Walcountians Sports Club and they will cleaned regularly
  • Parents if you choose for your child to take part you will be asked to provide written consent to the Manager that you are comfortable with the Club’s Covid Planning arrangements
  • Spectators should remain socially distanced at all times whilst attending the events and groups should be restricted in size to six-person gatherings and spread out in line with wider Government guidance
