AFC survived an early scare to move top of the table with a convincing win against the current league leaders. A fluke own goal within a minute preceded a dominant attacking display from the Counts. Sam Grosser converted the penalty he had won after being hacked down, and the scores were level. Grosser soon put AFC in the lead with a curling finish from the edge of the box, and Ryan McMorrow made it 3 when he dinked it over the keeper having been put through on goal.
A Chessington penalty against the run of play on the stroke of half-time meant the score was 3-2 at the break.
AFC picked up where they left off in the second half. Some fine passing football saw man of the match Sam Grosser add three more to bring his afternoon tally to five. George Harrington, Ryan Thomas and Ben Macey (2) completed the rout.
